2026 Grant Applications!

Posted 3 August 2026

The final round of applications from local groups and organisations this year is now open.

Every year over the last two decades, Community Bank Epping has returned at least 80% of all profits from our branch to the Epping district through community grants and sponsorship. It is the key to our mission as a community bank, working as part of the Bendigo Bank network.

Recently, we celebrated returning more than $3m to the area since the branch was set up in 2003 – see more here.

We want to help our community grow and thrive – through supporting local schools and community sport, assisting family and youth charities in vital work, contributing to capital works that provide more community facilities, and sponsoring local events that bring our community together.

Grant or Sponsorship?

If you are a sporting club, or other organisation, looking for annual sponsorship, do not apply in this grants round. This grants round is only for one-off projects (e.g. new capital works or equipment) – not annual recurrent sponsorship.

Please email eppingcbgrants@gmail.com for more information in applying for sponsorship. These applications can be made throughout the year and we will assist you with the process.

2026 community grants

Our 2026 community funding program is made available through application ’rounds’, dependent on the successful operation of the bank. The second and final tranche of funding for 2026 is open from 1 August – 31 August 2026 with successful applicants notified in September 2026. The next round will likely open in early 2027.

There are some important eligibility criteria:

  • Funding can only be given to organisations – not individuals
  • It is available for not-for-profit organisations and charities
  • Organisations applying need to have an ABN (or a project partner with an ABN)
  • Grants must assist Epping and nearby suburbs (through projects based in these areas)
  • Funding cannot cover admin, staffing or other overhead costs
  • Funding is not available for projects already completed – only new proposals
  • Sporting clubs looking for annual sponsorship support should not apply in this round but instead email eppingcbgrants@gmail.com for more information
  • Funding is not guaranteed so early applications are encouraged

To find out more about the community funding process and eligibility, please read the Community Funding Guidelines.

You can see tips about applying for a grant here.

Once you are ready to apply, you can start the online application process with the link below. All applications must be made through this form (no email applications are accepted). This form will close on 31 August.

If you have questions or need assistance, please email eppingcbgrants@gmail.com
