Community 2121 Awards

Epping and districts are extremely fortunate to have many volunteers who give their time and skills to local groups, charities, clubs and other organisations. The Community 2121 Awards was established by Community Bank Epping to recognise their dedication and work.

These annual Awards are presented to deserving residents who have demonstrated outstanding commitment and selfless dedication for the benefit of our community.

The Awards are recognition for those quiet achievers – volunteers who help make Epping a better place to live.

How does it work

There are two categories in the Awards:

  • General Award – open to all local residents
  • Youth Award – for those under 25 years of age on 1 January of the year following

Local residents and organisations are invited to nominate people each year. These nominations are assessed by the Board of Directors, and awards are presented at an annual dinner (held in conjunction with Epping Rotary) each Spring.

Congratulations to the 2025 Winners:

Youth Award: Phoebe Ng

Adult Award: Fritz Berchtold, Ken Fitzgerald, Kori Tandy, Dongyang Sun, Peter Kang, Linda Xu and Catherine Collerson

Past Community 2121 Award Winners

Since the Awards were established in 2006, 53 locals have received recognition. They represent a very wide range of organisations and volunteer work.
