Supporting and celebrating local charities and groups is part of Community Bank Epping’s DNA. Recently we held our annual Grants night to support six organisations with a Director’s Grant 2025.
The mission of the Community Bank Epping, as part of Bendigo Bank, is to not only offer customers excellent banking options, but also to give back to the community. This is done through a range of grants and sponsorships throughout the year. The 2025 Director’s Grants awards is one of the highlights of this program.
The Board Directors (who are all volunteers and local residents) were invited to choose one or two local organisations to support with a grant of $2,000. They could be a particular interest or an organisation that the team member is involved in, or an area they have a connection to and wanted to highlight.
In late September, 6 charities joined directors to celebrate their work, share their stories and accept the grant. It was a night that demonstrated the power of community and the benefits of giving back.
We were also delighted to be joined by local representatives – Councillors Cameron MacLean and Screeni Pillamarri from the City of Parramatta Council and Julian Leeser, Federal MP for Berowra (which encompasses Epping). Bringing people and organisations together has many long-term benefits.
Community Bank Epping congratulates each of these organisations on the valuable community work that they do and looks forward to forming lasting relationships with them and helping them with future projects.
