A helping hand

Grants are used to try and help a wide range of organisations and needs across the wider Epping area. Homelessness and people struggling is the focus of Dignity, a charity working in the area who requested help.

Dignity works to try and prevent homelessness and help those at risk. They offer temporary accommodation and other services to support people every night.

They applied to Community Bank Epping for grant funds towards the cost of purchasing, packing and distributing food relief hampers for people at risk of homelessness.

For individuals and families experiencing homelessness and staying in Dignity’s guest homes, the funding will help them to purchase items such as PJs and underwear for kids packs, and mobile phones and laptop devices to empower people to search for stable housing and employment.
