Community Bank Epping’s mission is supporting and celebrating local charities and groups. Recently we held our annual Grants night to support eight organisations with a Director’s Grant 2026.

The aim of the Community Bank Epping, as part of Bendigo Bank, is to not only offer customers excellent banking options, but also to give back to the community. This is done through a range of grants and sponsorships throughout the year. The 2026 Director’s Grants awards is one of the highlights of this program.

The Board Directors (who are all volunteers and local residents) were invited to choose a local organisations to support with a grant of $2,000. They could be a particular interest or an organisation that the team member is involved in, or an area they have a connection to and wanted to highlight.

In late September, 8 charities joined directors to celebrate their work, share their stories and accept the grant. It was a night that demonstrated the power of community and the benefits of giving back. 

We were also delighted to be joined by local representatives – Councillors Charles Chen and Screeni Pillamarri from the City of Parramatta Council. Bringing people and organisations together has many long-term benefits.
