School Enhancements

The Epping area is fortunate to have great local schools, and parents volunteer to organise many activities and projects, especially through the P&C. Extracurricular activities, new equipment and facilities, events and more are made possible through fund-raising and hard work.

Community Bank Epping gets many applications for P&C projects and likes to support as many as possible. 2025 has been a busy year for school grants – with 10 projects at 7 schools and one early learning centre. And this year, we have already funded another four activities. Here are some of the projects:Β

  • Epping West Public School: A a major playground upgrade and rebuild project has been supported – with the work planned to be completed during 2026. A second grant late in 2025 funded new equipment for the school orchestra program.
  • Murray Farm Public School: During 2025 we supported a major upgrade of the school canteen with new equipment and renovated areas. More recently, funding support for drama equipment and programs was also approved and is underway.
  • Roselea Public School: Early in 2026, funding was approved for the installation of new drinking equipment and water filters to promote healthy living
  • Cheltenham Girls High School: Such a large school has a very active extra curricular program using the school hall. Funding was provided in 2026 to update and improve the stage and other equipment to allow plays and musicals to be performed.
  • Epping North Public School: Few schools have as great a community garden on site as this local school, and our grant will support new plants and equipment.
  • Carlingford Public School: Halls at our schools can be hot spaces, so we were happy to support the P&C’s project to air condition their hall.
  • NextSense: Early childhood education sets key foundations for young children, and work has just been completed providing specialised play equipment for the deaf and blind children who attend this charity’s centre.
  • Epping Heights Public School: A great way to celebrate the end of the year is at this school’s carol service where the P&C gather the school community together.
