2024 was a record year for community funding by Community Bank Epping. Our grants and sponsorships reached more organisations, funded an increased number of projects and was distributed more widely throughout the Epping area.

In 2024, our community bank supported:

  • 58 projects
  • 42 organisations
  • Over $430,000 in funding

Projects came from a wide area around Epping – from Riding for the Disabled in Marsfield, netball and soccer clubs in Carlingford, school P&Cs from Murray Farm to Denistone and more. You can see the full list of organisations that were supported here.

Some of the initiatives included:

  • Transitional housing for women over 55 at Beecroft House, run by Womens Community Shelters
  • Workshops for parents and carers at local schools to help with children’s trauma and behavioural challenges
  • Fit out of a new community centre in Epping run by Epping Rotary
  • Accessibility equipment and infrastructure for community programs at All Saints Church, North Epping
  • Training equipment and club resources for local netball clubs (North Epping Rangers, Carlingford Flames, St Andrews and Carlingford NC) and soccer clubs (Roselea FC, Epping FC and Epping Eastwood FC)
  • Support for the valuable work undertaken by school P&Cs including Ngarala PS, North Epping PS, Denistone East PS, Murray Farm PS, Epping PS and Cheltenham Girls HS
  • Local events that enhance life in Epping – Ray Park Heritage day and North Epping Carols
  • Town Centre enhancement through a new mural at Epping Library

This was only possible through the support of locals who choose to bank with Community Bank Epping. The Board’s mission is to dedicate at least 80% of profits to community projects – giving back to all.
