Community Bank Epping has been a major sponsor of the Riding for the Disabled Centre (RDA) on Culloden Road in Marsfield in recent years. And here, a horse called Bendigo (Bendy) continues to give love, trust and fun to people each week.
At the Centre, through the amazing work of a team of volunteers, disabled children and adults have fun, exercise and learning through riding and equine interactions. Everyone who visits the Centre comes away with hope and positivity.
Two years ago, RDA asked us for financial support to enable them to have an extra horse in their stable. More horses mean more rides! And so Bendy the horse joined them. She is a bright ray of sunshine at the Centre.
Recently they applied for a new grant to continue support for Bendy for the next two years. Caring for horses in not cheap, and the Centre is always fund-raising. We were delighted to extend our support and look forward to Bendy offering many more rides in coming years.
