Community Bank Epping has announced 24 grants and sponsorships for local community groups. This is the first round of 2026 funding and will help a wide range of organisations.

The mission of this community bank is to return at least 80% of profits to the Epping area through supporting groups, clubs, charities and events. At least twice a year, organisations can apply for funding, outlining how their project will help local residents enjoy life in the area.

In this round, four sponsorships were allocated:

• 3 local sports clubs
• 1 community organisation

20 larger community groups will also receive funding:

• 6 community sports clubs for equipment, training and capital works
• 1 charitable organisation tackling homelessness
• 2 organisations assisting disabled children and adults
• 6 community clubs and service organisations
• 3 school P&Cs
• 1 church community facility
• 1 arts event

Thousands of residents are involved across these groups and Community Bank Epping is pleased that the 2026 funding program will helps these organisations to run.
