Epping Score 1st and 2nd in the 60m state titles

Epping District Athletics Club celebrated a double win on the podium recently. Carl Corey Ewing and Lewis Clabburn, both coached by Andrew Murphy took out first and second place: Carl with a time of 6.79 into a -1.7 wind and Lewis, 6.90 into a -1.7 wind.

Bendigo Community Bank Epping has had a long-standing relationship with EDAC, a legendary club with a history of producing winners. As recent winners of our business award, it was heartening to see our logo emblazoned on the winners’ outfits!

Huge weekend for Epping Eastwood Tigers FC and @North Epping Rangers Sports Club with their Presentation Days. On sunny days, the Community Bank Epping marquees were out in force - one of the ways in which we support these terrific local community sports clubs.

Time to celebrate 🌟🥇⚽️

Our local soccer and netball clubs are having their presentation days at the moment - a great time to acknowledge the work of teams and players. Community Bank Epping's Chair, Rob Phillips, was delighted to present awards at the Roselea Football Club day last Sunday.

Then there will be great excitement in North Epping this coming Saturday (14th) for the annual Rangers day with North Epping Rangers Sports Club. And Sunday it's Epping Eastwood Tigers FC turn for their Minis and Juniors picnic day at Boronia Park.

Get along to support these great local clubs and community events.

Mini Movers is a playgroup based at All Saints chu

Mini Movers is a playgroup based at All Saints church in North Epping. Community Bank Epping's Chair, Rob Phillips, paid a visit recently to see the new furniture and play equipment funded by community grant.
The kids were having great fun in the outdoor play area, followed by singing and music inside with their carers and volunteers. You can find out more at www.allsaintsepping.org/minimovers
Playgroups offer a chance for parents to meet other local families, as well as fun for the children. It's a great example of how our grant's program aims to enhance local educational opportunities.

Tucked away at Epping North Public School, there is an amazing garden coming to life. And Community Bank Epping has been delighted to help it florish with grants from our community program.
Led by teacher, Mitchell Stone, the school has developed a garden showcasing veggies and herbs, flowers and fruit trees, stingless bees and hanging gardens. There is even a new Japanese-style area.
The children help develop and maintain the area, and it's used in a myriad of lessons.
So take a tour with Mitchell and see what's there.

Great to see the Epping Eastwood Tigers FC U/18's showing off their new training kits - funded with a grant from Community Bank Epping.
This year, we have already enabled 13 projects from local community sports clubs - ranging from canteen fitouts to training equipment and gear. Sports helped includes soccer, netball, athletics, baseball and cricket.

What a busy year the team at Community Bank Epping

What a busy year the team at Community Bank Epping have had. Thanks to the great support of locals choosing our branch, we've been able to give over $460,000 back to the Epping area through community grants. In just 12 months!

We've supported 46 projects being run by 33 organisations - from sports clubs to school P&Cs, wellbeing projects, local events, and great new community facilities.
