If you have young pre-school age children, and live around the Epping area, why not join a local Epping playgroup? It’s a great chance for your child to have fun and enjoy some creative play, in a relaxing environment. And parents/carers get to meet others in the community.
In our area, we are lucky to have a choice of playgroups – usually run by local churches but open to all – that operate on different days of the week. Most are very low cost to participate and run through school term times – and you can join throughout the year.
Here is a selection:
This is located in the Baptist church on the corner of Ray Road and Carlingford Road in the centre of Epping and runs on two mornings a week.
Mini Movers – All Saints Anglican North Epping
The only playgroup in North Epping, this operates on Wednesday mornings during school term time.
Run in the Uniting church on Tuesday mornings in term time.
This is a Christian playtime run at the Presbyterian church in Eastwood.
Mainly Music – Epping Church of Christ
You’ll find this music based playgroup in the hall at the back of the church on Bridge Street, Epping
Epping Library also runs two story time sessions a week in the library: https://www.cityofparramatta.nsw.gov.au/community/library/storytime
Community Bank Epping has been delighted to help both the Epping Baptist Playtime and Mini Movers at All Saints with community grants. The funding will enable them to buy and update essential equipment – guaranteeing more fun for the kids!
